Do you need to reflect on your life?

IMG_20151105_132101Sometimes I just like to reflect on life…
As I lay in the sun on my own on a beach in Koh Samui, I am able to stop and think.
These past 6 months or so have been hectic. I’ve never been too good at being still. I am constantly on the move, doing something or thinking about my next step.
I definitely believe that your life is what you make it… If your not happy , change or move, just don’t complain.
People might see me as “lucky” or envy what I am doing. I am constantly gratefully for my life and the opportunities I’ve had but I had to make that big step first.
I love my life. I love travelling. I love meeting new people. I love teaching. I love exploring new parts of the world.
All I can say I made the choice to give up the familiar in my home country and get out my comfort zone. Money is not an excuse. I learnt to budget and prioritise my money. I did not have thousands in the bank but had enough to get a flight and first month of living. I moved to Thailand and found a job, where I saved more to travel and move to the next country to work. My life is packed in one bag and at the moment I’m country hopping. Over the last year, I have lived in South Africa, Thailand and so far travelled Burma, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia. I have experienced and seen some incredible things, and learnt huge amounts and grown as a person.
Are you doing what you love? What do you need to change? I would urge everyone to travel and live the life they want.
