Ancient City, Bangkok

Over the weekend, I travelled to Ancient City, which is South-East of Bangkok. It was extremely easy to get to. I caught a BTS (skytrain) to Bearing. Ancient City organise a shuttle van to Erawan Museum and Ancient City for free. Ancient City is a huge complex with replicas of different temples and statues from around Thailand. It’s definitely a super day out.

Usually it costs 700baht for farangs, but as I have a work permit, it was half the price. The price included a map, audio guide and a bicycle to ride around the area. I am not usually the kind of person to ride a bike but I faced my fears and rode around Ancient City. I actually loved it. Here are some photos from my day trip.
